I am from North India , I joined cognizant office Hyderabad location with all the South Indians in the team ...males in specific...my Manager was so insecure that he played politics ganging up with his manager and released me from the project. The reason for my release is I asked them to provide me cab facility only for night to travel to office and home. I would in future avoid joining South team...also I have a concern why do they hire north Indians if they don't like us....and are so biased towards their community...plus they gossip more than any female in this world.
I seriously don’t have a single word for cts culture. I just can’t understand they have enormous budget for shitty things(pride month and bla bla). Cts ceo Ravi ranked at 1st in highest paying ceo. But they just can’t sit for candidates/take candidates for projects.

True! Only on papers "equality" is there. In reality, there is too much regional politics. In my project 90% of the teammates are from one particular region. So is my manager. And for appraisals, leave acceptance, ratings everything is biased.
This region's partiality is always there in every project not only b/w south n north regions. It's also there within multiple languages of south regions also. Example if the manager is from Tamilnadu he won't support other Hyderabad or north people. He always support n appreciate only Tamil people and it's too much established in cognizant.
I think the perception literally varies. I don’t think they are baised towards north people. In some scenarios its vice versa. Might be few persons will be there and habituated. As i seen we south people even don’t have projects. All cts gone in vain no projects , no work life balance all thanks to new CEO who ruined the life of employee with false visions.
Yup. Same happened with me. Plus the person I had to deal with was so shitty. No manners in general. My project manager is also so shitty

This isn't about CTS. This is regionalism and I've heard the same stories from my friends all over other organisations too. Although I didn't face such things maybe because I had an equal amount of people from both regions.
Cognizant work culture is worst ever.. they doing to all in every project only South people they like and almost all projects based on South cities only.
