Trending @Cognizant; Office hours query
Hi all, I have recently joined Cognizant and I know the mgmt expect us to be in office for 10 hours - 3 days/week. But is it really mandatory? What if I go around 3-4 hours only. What could be the consequences if I go for 3-4 hours only?
I was in LTI earlier and there if we don't go to office they use to deduct the leaves so any such practices are followed here?
Will they terminate people for not following the policy?
Working hours totally depend on your teammates and seniors. If they are ok for you reporting 3 to 4 hours then no issues. I have seen employees reporting for just 15 to 30 mins without any issues and on other hand for some projects employees has to stay total 10 hrs, no topup allowed in trutime. Also there is no such thing like leaves deduction.
Minimum 6 hrs is mandatory and 3 days a week
It's not mandatory minimum 4-5 hours is fine 3 days a week
Go compliance with project and project manager expectation, else you are giving him pointers for your year end appraisal
