Trending @Cognizant; Notice period query - when put on bench how much notice period need to serve

My position ramp down at client location and I will be on bench in last week of December. If in case I will resigned how much notice period I need to serve after resignation. Is there any possibility for early release ??? Can anyone please confirm ??
