Is Cognizant a great place to work ?
There is rumor that Cognizant favour Tamil Linguistic People ?
I'm Tamilian and haven't received any favoured treatment. To be honest, I have got negative treatment. My understanding is one has to have a slave (compliance to everything) mindset to not get bad consequences. To get favourable treatment, you need to have a smooth relationship with your bosses. And it also depends on project you are assigned to. If both the client and management are not toxic, then good. If either client or management is bad, then you would be trapped in a sticky rotten pickle leading to falsified performance reviews and career stagnation for which the only solution is to switch company.
I'm a non tamilian. And I have know more than 3 projects running in favor of Tamil people by changing higher management to tamilians. Best part is my colleagues are Tamil and I think with the culture of Tamil , no one argue for anything wrong if happened to their anna or akka.
My answer is No. Cognizant culture changed a year back. Only one community can survive..
Yes all the Higher Ups are Tamil and they give favor to Tamil workforce
I have no complaints other then 3 months notice period and 10 hours shift.
