Trending @Cognizant; Need clarity on cognizant retain hike limit

I got an offer with 35% hike and my current pm is ready to match the offer..will hr follow the manager words or is there any hr policy like retain hike shouldn't exceed this much percentage like that.

My Spm directly informed me that HR are not going to retain you at any condition though i have good client feedback. They can only promote me via IJM.

Okay..if project dependency is there and pm and HCM is agreed to price match hr will try for retain..i know for sure they won't match the offer

I got retained few months back, I have got only 20% which they have mentioned as the limit, not sure on what basis they will calculate

If your experience is not that much and want to learn things more you can stay here at 30% retention. Also if you are more years experienced like 10 15 years then also 30% is good. If your are around 3 to 5 years experience you can try things outside the org. Just a suggestion

I was offered 30% but to accept that you have to inform immediately. Within a day or so. And also you need to take your paper back then only they will release the letters.
