Trending @Cognizant; Need advice!!!

Hi All,

I have been in ADP since May. Also I have cleared the certify phase of the GenC digital Honors Program in March 2023. After clearing it, I got a mail from gencdigitalhonors team that I will be deployed into the respective BU by the operational excellence team once a billable role is available. It's been over 1 year and they are yet to deploy me and other associates that have cleared the certify phase.

I have been applying in TMP and getting no response related to the role I have cleared.

After putting in a lot of effort to clear that program,It's really heartbreaking for me that all my effort is going in vain. It would be helpful, if anyone know what to do regarding this

Also I got an email to attend the In-Person Placement Event(IPPE). Can someone please let me know what this is about?

This is what they do. The previous CEO was letting employees get promotion and get deployed through GenC Honors but after Ravi Kumar, he is kind of not showing interest in this program. Also the project situation is very bad in Cognizant. I will suggest to start looking outside. They will not put much effort to help you in getting a project. Also after 35 days they will start giving extension mails and Show Cause mail. After which they will force you to resign.

These events are nothing but a nonsense. You are not going to get into any project. It's just a way to make you come to office and do this nonsense. It's just a way to create pressure on you. I have attended these events and they are bogus. Try to get into a project through TMP or reach out to HM on Teams. Nothing else is going to help. Ppl who take interviews in these sessions themselves don't know anything.

IPPE event help you to get into project. They set up an interview panel and hiring managers will come and conduct interviews with candidates who has matching skillset and allocate them into respective project. But IPPE event happen seperately for each domain if you have cleared digital honours program in different domain ,in that case it will not use full for you.
