Trending @Cognizant; Navigating Job Offers and Project Allocation at Cognizant

Recently, I entered the talent pool and began actively searching for external job opportunities. Initially, I didn’t receive any offers. To increase my visibility, I updated my profile on job portals to reflect myself as an immediate joiner, with a tentative notice period. This led to a significant increase in recruiter calls, and I subsequently received several job offers.

However, during this time, I was allocated to another project within Cognizant. Although I am no longer an immediate joiner, the project has not yet started. Given this situation, I am wondering if it is feasible to be released from Cognizant on short notice ?

Please get the offer letter Asap and tell PMo to hold your allocation for 2,3 days

What are your years of experience? Even if you got allocated I think they might keep you as a shadow resource for a few days, so you can ask for early release if that's the case.

You can try. Even if they don't give short notice, you inform the companies that provided offers. Some of them might understand and be okay to wait if it's not urgent for them. If they're not ready, you can update your profile as currently in notice period and continue job search. These are the options I see you have.
