Trending @Cognizant; Mtech vs Job
I'm having around 3 yrs of experience in Insurance Development using a particular tool.My CTC is around 8.2Lpa rn.Should I go for offline Mtech in Machine Learning from IIIT-Allahabad as I have valid gate score.My only purpose of doing mtech is higher CTC because growth at current company seems slow as ,I'll be able to reach around 11 lpa in next three years🥲 if I will not be able to switch in my current tech stack.
Also I'm learning Dsa -solved Strivers sheet ard 400 questions,Web Dev -Mern stack on my own to switch to SDE positions but competing in open market that to having no related experience seems very tough. Please Suggest what will be right. Thankyou

@MeagerHook7 What is your current CTC and what branch you are thinking to opt,if it's trending branch I would say it will definitely be worth also explore previous year placements for the branch u will select
I am fresher with 1 yoe at CTS with salary around 5 lpa and looking at current scenario where people getting force resign.....I have 2 option switch or gate......just assigned to project 🥲
After M.tech there will be no guarantee of a higher package. Also you have to minus the two years of your income plus the two years of expenses of M.tech. Only do if you are curious about higher studies. I will suggest keep grinding in the market with DSA and try to add one or two GenAI projects in your Resume.
