Trending @Cognizant; Merit increase hike 2025
Hello all Today we had and townhall inperson meeting in that they informed about our account and next quarter targets and hr said about hike that they didn’t get any confirmation as of now they will get in next 2 weeks once they get they will inform it seems.
At the end we asked in Q/A session we asked about hike and they said like this year market is not upto mark as compared to last year but organisation will decide based on market and organization will make better hike as compared to market competitors not sure how much it will be and the percentages are not yet decided it will be decided in next 10 days…
This is a wrong practice that every company is following. Annual hike must be based on financials not on what competitiors are doing. If you check Q2 2025 financials, company is saying we are on growth track. Revenue and profits are increased as compared to Q2 2024. EPS also increased. So if financials are good then there shouldn't be any issue in giving annual hike however they are saying look at the competitors, they are not giving any hike then why should we give.
