Trending @Cognizant; Location change
Is it an easy process to change location in Cognizant? Currently I am in Hyderabad location but want to go to Pune. Is the process going to be easy or not ? Whom to contact for this ?
I recently changed my location. I mailed my Project manager for location change and then she proceeded further. It was changed in 2 days
Check with your home manager. If you are in client project then you need to get approval from your delivery manager too. Then they will raise a request with your vertical OPS team and then your transfer will happen.
Contact your HM, it's not difficult to do.
If already few folks are working in pune location from your project tgen it is quite easy. If not then it is little bit tedious as your manager needs to change BCP plan and head counts to location accordingly. But nowadays they are doing bcoz then want associate to report there nearest office location. You can say Pune is your nearest office location and you would like to move there. Your PM will do it.
Write mail to everyone separately HR, PM, HM, or seniors above them…who ever replies in your favour…only talk to them to change the location.( loophole in cognizant- they all r not in contact with each other😅) I changed my location in same way, just give a solid medical problem and ready with medical documents.
