Trending @Cognizant; Location access

My work location is Hyderabad and it's a WFH project. I'm from Mumbai. I sometimes feel like going to the office and work(Mumbai location) and the same was communicated to my TL but he denied saying it is not possible as you are mapped to the Hyderabad location. Can someone tell me if I can book a seat and visit the Mumbai location office and work?
