Trending @Cognizant; Is the WFO policy mandatory only because local government is forcing companies to do so, so economy booms? Or is there more to it?
I can see neither employees nor company benefitting from it. From company's POV they can prevent employees from moonlighting to some extent only. So can't understand the fuss

With current generation especially the Genz’s a company is doomed if there is no WFO policy. Even from office they don’t work. Full time on phone, reels, breaks, chit chatting and showcase working or pretend to be busy with work. Current generation is so obsessed with wfh and raising noise that it’s productive but in reality their intentions is to not work and pass time doing their personal work

wfo policy is mainly to prevent moonlighting and ensure productivity. 💼 companies want to keep an eye on employees and make sure they are focused on their work. it's not just about the economy.
