Trending @Cognizant; Is it worth to switch from Dev to QA

I’m a dev who earn 6.5LPA and i got offer for a QA role with 14 LPA from a decent company. I couldn’t decide as i have a feat this would mess up my career

If the company is mnc or mid to high level you may change if you are not good in coding and not interested in dev . I could see people still suffer to get this package even though they are developers or Testers.

3.5 yrs of exp and i joined back in 2022

If you're strong in dev then don't switch to qa for money. When experience gets higher in dev role you will get more salary then qa with same experience
