Trending @Cognizant; Is it cognizant layoff strategy?

I recently came in pdp i.e. on 3 June, they scheduled a technical assessment on the same day, and I am failed now in that assessment, I was not prepared for technical assessment, what will happen now? My friend has to resign as he was also failed in the technical assessment, From a PA level employee, they are asking 5+ years experience questions.

Same has happened with me but in my case they asked me really simple questions which I answered properly later they mailed me and what in result I failed. I was pa and now I have resigned because of that. It's there way of layoffs mate just try get into project or better to switch

Yes, they are not having projects and they are layoff stating one or the other reason. Don’t worry even the HRs which are saying us to resign - A day will come when their seniors will say them as we do not have much resources and projects now you can also resign. Karma comes back. Stay positive and start searching for new jobs.
