Trending @Cognizant; If i go for 3weeks leave and send resignation during my vacation will my leave be cancelled or how will they calculate lwd. Please help here

Once you resign, at the same moment all your future casual or earned leaves ( even approved leaves ) gets canceled. While resignation submission you will get pop-up to acknowledge this before clicking submit button. I have tried doing same. I got my 11th Dec leave approved on 1st Dec and resigned on 2nd. And got to know how this works. You can't use casual and earned leaves while on notice period. And if you tried using sick leave, after 3 sick leaves approval goes at HR instead of Home Manager (Learnt by doing), which can affect your last working day. I hope this helps.

Also if my leaves is approved and before going on leaves i resigned at that time will my leave gonna cancelled i am looking for jobs right now once i get any offer i will resign right away
