Trending @Cognizant; I want release and want to change the project.

I was on the bench for 8 months since I joined after that I was auto assigned to one project and I am working as a CC Analyst, where I can't utilise my skills and I am unable to learn any new skills and I am unable to upgrade my skills. This is a 24*7 support project, So I have to work for a rotation shift and this thing is affecting my health as well. I am not getting any client holidays or national holidays or complementary off for these leaves, I want release from the project and I have not completed 18 months in this project, I am ready to learn new skills and ready to switch the project. Should I resign? Please can anyone suggest to me what I can do.

But market right now is tougher I myself is on bench since one month and looking for projects desperately as I have bills to pay and they can ask to put down papers anytime soon

That's the reason I am stuck in this project.

Yes, please resign if there's no growth. Although, they do not have projects. Only customer care work available.

May I get the compensation if I resign?

I am not sure if you resign, will they give compensation or not. But you are on the bench and they ask for it, then they might give.

There are no projects on bench better look outside instead of asking for release .
