Yes you will get automatically promoted PA after 30 days from doj after 1 year if you have rating min of 3

You should be promoted automatically but sometimes some manager don't promote even after 1 year. Happened to one of my friend. Manager told her you have not done enough to be promoted. She got after 3 more months

You will get promoted in 1 year, your default rating will be 3 so don't worry about it
