Trending @Cognizant; I don't have a cognizant laptop currently!

Initially when I was onboarded in Cognizant as a fresher, I was assigned with a cognizant asset like any other associates. In my previous client project, I was using my client's laptop and my senior manager asked me to return my cognizant asset because he said that there's no necessity of keeping two laptops with me. I did as instructed. Now my project is going to be over in a month from now. I've let my PM know about this concern. He said, once I am moved to the bench, I can raise a request for a new cognizant asset. Can anybody help me with this/ has any idea about this scenario?
