Trending @Cognizant; How many earned leaves we can hold at once.

Suppose from last year I have 5 earned leaves and from current year I have 13 leaves so the total is 18 days. So will I get next upcoming month's earned leaves as my count has reached to 18. Somewhere I read in policy like at once you can hold 18 leaves.
