Trending @Cognizant; Got 3 star rating, will this affect my PA to A transition?
I got 3 star rating for 2024. Although working a 2 man's job. My replacement is not even in the project. My manager gave me 4 star rating, because I didn't get time to contribute on bluebolt. But I did get 2 certified certifications.
After normalisation, I got 3 star. Everyone in the team, including my manager said I deserve 4 or 5.
This is affecting my PA to A transition. I completed my 2 years in July 2024. My BAU performance is really good according to the clients. Even the product manager who oversees our operations daily sent out the mail for my appreciation lopping my leadership hierarchy.
Is there any chance I will get promoted in the next quarter? This is really frustrating.
Find a job outside and leave Cognizant. It's mini Infosys now. Gone are the days when talent used to be recognized. Now it's all about getting the work done. Try to understand that if your manager gave you rating 4 and senior management normalized it to 3 then it has to do something with RTO. Leave the company when you are performing well. No service based company is worth building a career in. Jump and get better salary. Promotion will happen automatically.
