Hello guys,
Now that Q4 promotion results are declared in Q1 and henceforth all promotions are likely to be postponed by one quarter, what do you guys feel about waiting for your turn? Is it really worth the wait? On the flip side, if you try outside with less than 3 years of experience, hardly any good companies step forward to hire. The minimum expectation is for the candidate to have three years of experience to even pass through the screening phase. How do you guys throttle through this situation?
PS: I'm a Oct 2022 joinee, that will be completing 30 months in April. Will I be eligible for Q1 promotions?
The best way is to apply outside for as many opportunities as you can, then you might land up some opportunities where they value skill set more than the experience. On the other hand if we keep waiting for the promotion, it will do nothing but consume one more of our year, so in that case, it will be better if you work rigorously on building some new skills or sharpening present skills to the level that you will be able to justify your 3+ years of experience. The thing is that during this journey we might face FOMO that we are the only ones in our friends circle remaining to get a handsome 2 digit package, but at the end its our own journey and we need to be very focused and prioritize the things without getting affected by these outer norms as it might even more delay the process by directly hampering our confidence and motivation. That's all I can say since I highly relate to this situation. Hope this helps🙂
I second this. Prepare for skills while waiting for promotion. If promotion happens before switching to a different company, well and good. If promotion doesn't happen on time, proceed with the switch with a good hike as waiting simply would waste months of your time without benefit.
You might be eligible, as for the Q4 2024 promotion, they had considered 30 months at the same level as of 31st December 2024.
Following that logic, for Q1 2025 promotion, they should consider 30 months at the same level as of 31st March 2025.
Bro my DOJ was 30 June and I completed 30 months on dec 30, so my promotion will happen in Q4 or Q1???

I promoted pa to a I got confirmation email. When will expect Associate salary. Still I'm getting PA salary .
How much will I expect PA TO A after promotion
No it wont be delayed Companies name will be ruined when they repeat the process like Q4 promotions, like delaying it by three months then paying arrears , management wil not repeat it again in Q1 all eligible associates will be rewarded this time in April with promotions in timely manner
