Trending @Cognizant; Future career confusion

I am in PDP for the last 1 month. I know PAs who are sitting idle from the date they joined as FTE, they are allocated to a project and getting salary every month, but haven't received any work/assignment. My question is, what happens to people like these/us? Surely something happens to us? Or, are job prospects very bleak for us? Someone out there will surely hire us, right?
