They have literally started blackmailing me to come to the office. Of course, I agree that it's company policy and all that but do they need to go to this extent to force such things? I have heard modern day enslavement is real and I feel like this is it. I feel so powerless and voiceless against such big entities and everyday feels like hell now. I feel like all my life's work, my studies, were worthless. I guess it is real that our education system focuses on teaching us how to be a slave to such big corporations. And frankly, I don't see a way out other than adhering to their commands.

They just gave two options, obey the orders and be at the office or face the consequences.
I have had lots of issues with RTO and traveling was the biggest of them all. It takes me hours to reach the office and due to climate conditions I had requested a cab but they refused. I asked if I could login from a nearby odc, but they refused. Without giving me any options they simply force me to come to the office and frankly speaking I have nothing to do at the office! I'm literally just sitting there logging in and when the time is up, logging off and checking out. If this is what office culture is then I guess it is not my cup of tea or maybe I'm just stuck in such a hideous project and that I should move to somewhere else.

I don't mind going to the office but are they providing enough facilities to ease our RTO process? Not at all. They're crying to give cab and don't allow if I ask to login from a nearby location. I'm no machine? Why should I put my health at risk and travel all the way for no apparent reason just for the sake of their corporate policies?
Go back to office there is no other way . This wfh was temporary arrangement. If you have serious wfh requirements like you have to take care of someone etc you can inform your managers .
I had an emergency in my home I mail them. But no hope. Even if you ask for 2 weeks temporary wfh they are giving that too.
You should have not been that loyal to you rather should have been working around to create second income . Corporate wants you to belive only way you can earn is by your salary . For few lack you should create another income so atlest in such time you can keep your daal roti rolling even without support of you salary . I cracked this code . I resigned after 9 years without any offer letter , worked out finances and should be able to roll my life .lesson Learnt is if you are surviving on just your salary you are just one step away from poverty . Earn for your self not your company . Company is just one source of income
