I joined Cognizant in January 2024 through the GenC Elevate program, coming from a Computer Science background. Initially deployed in SAP MM for training, I later secured a project in the same domain. Now, I am looking to shift to SAP ABAP or transition to a different service line, such as ADM or a Computer Science-related field. Could you guide me on how to switch domains within Cognizant? Specifically, I want to understand the steps to transition to SAP ABAP or move to another service line. Also, I’d appreciate advice on acquiring the necessary skills, certifications, or training required for this change. If there are internal processes, such as skill assessments, role availability checks, or approvals involved, please let me know to ensure a smooth transition into my desired field.
