Trending @Cognizant; During utilisation calculation they are considering 8hrs/day for in billing hrs.

During utilisation calculation they are considering 8hrs/day for in billing hrs. but percentage is getting calculated based on 9hrs/day. by this logic, percentage utilisation can never be 100% for month.

Correct, utilisation will be 96-100% for very less associates. It will be 80-90% considering approx 2 sick/casual/earned leave per month and if client gives your billing for every other working days at the rate of 8 hours per day.

Yeah, most of the clients will give 8hrs of billing only that's why my client is giving 9hrs billing few clients as well so in this case I will get 100 percent for month. If there is no leave

Yes, it's a tricky setup. Utilization is calculated on 9-hour days, making 100% utilization elusive. It's a way to manage workloads and expectations.
