Trending @Cognizant; Doubt regarding Q1 promotions
Is the Q1 promotion process really started and if so is 26 march really the last date for the Q1 promotion to happen. My HR is not saying anything about the last date and my 30 months are completed in feb 2025. Please reply if anyone has any info regarding Q1 promotions.

What does nominations mean??? My manager informed he that my name is not in the eligible list even though i have met all the criteria.. if my name is not there can my manager nominate me now???
As far I know I think they can initiate promotion only when they can see our name in eligible list . Eligible list will be come from hr to Manager , then only they they can initiate.
I spoke directly with my HR, and they clarified that a separate team handles promotions. This team reviews eligibility criteria and sends the list to the EDL/PDL. The home manager is not involved in this process, so nothing will appear on their dashboard. However, they may be consulted for approval before the final list is sent to HR. If you meet all the eligibility requirements but are still denied a promotion, a valid business justification must be provided for the rejection.
And for you may be utilisation or rto is missing. And 26th is the last date for nominations in this quarter already lists were sent to your BU heads a week ago. check with your BU heads you have eligibility or not.
What if the EDL is the HM,
My manager cannot see any nomination option in go perform even my friends have same issue 😔😔
