Hi guys, Due excessive heat produced by laptop my screen bezel is broken and yesterday night I closed my laptop and today when I open it got teared and if I request a new laptop will they deduct it from my salary or how I am confused and tensed. Please anyone give me an answer I am worried
No damages has been done by me and 3 days back at hinge side bezel is slightly opened up and I thought due to heat and yesterday I closed and today when I open the laptop it is not opening and that open plastic is causing issue and today I raised gsd and they created a ticket
Raise a request and report the same. If the laptop is covered under warranty they would claim it, otherwise they will ask you to raise a request for a new laptop, for which cost will be deducted from the project funds.
There will be lot of questions on whether the damage is done by us. Have u raised any tickets to IT regarding this issue earlier? If yes, you can show those and tell its already been raise and no one has addressed the issue
