Changing internally in CTS will be a bit tough actually, what you can do is get the knowledge and hands on in cloud technology first then get a KT and in depth knowledge from your friend or someone who is working as a cloud developer and mention that his project in your resume but you must have low level understanding on that and than go for a switch but before that complete 2 years at least in CTS than only you'll be getting calls for interview.
