If you are already on bench and have accumulated enough sick leave, you can take them as long as they are not continuous for 2 or more days. If you are about to go on bench, a dayb before, try this - apply for a sick leave every Friday of the week. No one will approve it, infact it gets auto approved 2 days after the leave date.
