Trending @Cognizant; Can we change our designation to Software Engineer?
I joined Cognizant as an Associate - Projects. Heard that the designation Software Engineer is equal to and same as the Associate designation. Joined as a Python resource and my role is developer. Is there any possibility to change the designation to Software Engineer, so that it sounds more technical?
Associate project is also technical
But the tag Software Engineer itself sounds technical right
As much I know roles are fixed and based on yoe and skills, they can not create new role name for us and project associate is above PAT & Programer analyst in hierarchy so it means you are more technical then them. And if you are applying they will check your skill on basis of technical interview and salry will be on the basis of CTC so I think I doesn't matter
