I got an offer but they require me to join in a month of August I am on bench what are my options if I resign do I have to serve the 3 months notice period

One of my colleague resigned recently and he got immediate release. I don’t think you have to serve notice period if on bench and if they want you to, you can negotiate and use your EL to reduce your notice period. Let’s say you have 20EL and your notice is 45 days, you can ask them to deduct the EL and make it 25 days. Hope this helps!
