Trending @Cognizant; Can I request to relocate to Canada with same designation and same project.

Hi All..

Any one can help me on this., Can i request to relocate from India to Canada.,I will process my own visa and all but do not want to resign and sift there. Can I get different projects with same designation? To whom I should connect? Please suggest.

Well this will be depend on project, when you move to canada your salary will be increased and client will have to pay more to you! If you are valuable resource to client please check with your onsite manager as well as offshore business manager directly!

Onsite manager will check requirements or convince client to make requirements, and then it will go to your business manager and he will take actions!

If you convert into INR then you might feel it is more otherwise it is just the standard payout which if you see in Canadian dollar won't be too much but standard.

You should clear your expectations to your HM, if they have onshore opening they might check otherwise get release and talk to TSC team for Canada based openings.

I dont think it happens this way. You just cannot move to canada by yourself. For someone having visa sponsored by cts, there are hundreds of approvals from both cts and client side.
Your billing rate will change, your hcm will change etc etc. But please talk with the HR and ask if this option is viable. If not in this project, whether they can contain you on canadian payroll and let you look for projects
