What is the Billability role in view assignment. I'm Associate but in the view assignment I could see as a Programmer Trainee. what is the impact of the billability role and how it can be affected by promotion or other things

I'm assigned to a project and billable as well. But I was put in another job rotation pool as well with my current where my project Billability Role updated to Associate but still I was assigned to the same project with Same role

No impact, just billability means client is paying for you. Non billable means cognizant is paying for you.
PS: Non billable always doesnt means you are risk of getting fire. There are many internal projects in cts which are non billable
