Trending @Cognizant; Bench Period for new Joinee Senior Associate

I have joined cognizant on 21 March and I was informed that I have been hired for a client. But there are no project that am assigned as of now and am filling timesheet as non billable. Am not sure am in the bench. How many days as a new Joinee I can be without projects, as I have got only 2 project calls.
