I am pushed to bench by my previous project manager playing dirty politics, they had to actually do cost cutting hence they placed a A level associate in place of me who is SA..and gave a reason that we are releasing you due to RTO non compliance. I was not able to follow from my joining location Hyderabad, I was asking for 1 seat in Mumbai to which they said they can't allot seat for 1 person better use flexi seat...I was fine with it but they even didn't provide me a night shift cab...our shifts were till 1:30 AM... Every employee male or female needs a cab...I am myself being a woman didn't get cab from my project and was told about release...Now I am on bench since 5th...got 1 project call they interviewed me 3 times...2 times over call and 3rd time together with 2nd person and TL...I gave all the answers to their technical questions...their TL said I am not mature and he is looking for a old guy as a senior person.... pathetic selection process....Now externally I have given so many interviews but after 1st round I am not getting any confirmation from anyone....I am literally having a family to feed ...day by day I am feeling negativity about myself and getting suisidal thoughts though I can't execute it as I am very afraid of extreme things....but now I am so depressed that how can I earn money...are there any alternate ways anyone knows I can do for part time earnings...as I am very hopeless inside and out... Having experience of 11 years in IT and Backup domain I am at this stage....I am afraid what will do now
They are doing this cost cutting in every project.I am also getting released due to promotion criteria. If you are not getting any project calls from here , I will say you can try outside. Just give interviews everywhere. Same case of that happened with me , at the last time they take the person whom they know already and take in without any interview and they took almost one week for my interview process and at the last I think my time got wasted. Even that manager told me don't try other interviews you are already selected. It happens I will say. Hence prepare well .
Don't loose hope.. we are all not depend on one company or lead... Lots of opportunities are available in the world... Throw all negative thoughts and move forward...
My first advice, look out an opportunity outside thru known sources. Lots of opportunities available till 12 yrs experience.
Secondly, do connect with TSC lead and request an opportunity within cognizant & look out an opportunity in TSC and follow-up with respective lead / Hiring manager instead send profile & keep waiting
Did u get a project?
It's going to be same feeling even if you spend 20 years in IT. After spending 8 years in CTS I have decided to resign because of the location . Rather than being worried about getting work done ,tension how to reach to work . They are not ready to give nearest location . Seafch the market . CTS is turning out to be dump now
