We are not going to get August Hike also. My manager informed that CTS don't have budget as they stopped promotion she heard from somewhere that they will stop August hike also.

Seems speculation, or your manager is misinformed. Promotions are delayed but happening, I got promoted this month.

First of all. I won't term it as hike. It's an increment. And I'm sure your manager is greatly misinformed as August merit increase intimation had come directly from the leadership, so that's bound to happen, but don't expect some world changing numbers, maybe we'll be able to afford additional bread packets in our monthly ration with that extra money.
