Trending @Cognizant; Associate to Senior Associate criteria?

I'd really appreciate any word from anyone who's had any experience in this field.
I've completed almost 2.5 years in Cognizant with more than 6 years of experience, but I don't see any promotion on the horizon for the foreseeable future?
Does anyone know if there's any discussion we need to initiate from our end with our HM or PM for the promotion from Associate to Senior Associate level? I believe I have the required experience and similar workload compared to other SA in my project?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Talk to your manager about your promotion. Experience and workload matter, but you must express your interest. Promotions aren't automatic; communication is key.
If you are from outside coming in cognizant then 6 your is enough but when u r in cognizant then u need 7 yoe and for this also u need to communicate with manager.
1.3+ rating in previous year
2.atleast 30 months in cts
3.go perfom should be green
4.any bluebolt idea implementation
5.grow assessment
6.WFO 3 days per week
7.and SA Vaccancy should be open in your project.
If you want to skip all these then simply take offer from orther company then come to your manager negotiate if he is ok then u r in SA
Initiate from your side to your manager. They should know yur expectations for upcoming quater
IJM is just eye wash why we are fighting for just 15% hike & title changes.Better to jump.
