Trending @Cognizant; Appraisal Feedback
My manager rejected appraisal for one of my colleagues who is at PAT level depending on his availability and team interaction after discussion with me. We thought it would only have an impact on his appraisal, but now he received mail to interact with the talent manager as he was still on probation period. What will the consequences for the PAT guy and what we can do to prevent the impact on him. Any suggestions please let me know

What do you people like you get by putting juniors under the bus? You're not paying them from your own pocket maybe stop putting juniors at risk. Everyone's trying to make it here.

I'm not giving anything to anyone. My manager asked for his performance. so I provided honest feedback. As a junior person, we don't have any expectations from him except to be available during his shift. For work related thing, we are present to help. But if we only see excuses every time then except giving honest feedback, we cannot just provide a 4,5 star rating.

in short he is f***ed
You cannot do anything bro
Should have thought before giving comments on someone

he is not f***ed up as my manager reaches out to multiple managers to get approval to re-open his feedback or promotion form. but the issue is even getting mail to reach out to TM. he didn't check his email. Reach out to no one

I think the person should start looking outside and start working hard

You did the right thing. No mercy for irresponsible behaviour especially the current generation. Full time they want to relax and be on Instagram.

Just to provide an update on this. My manager got multiple approvals from HR and BU as well. So that his feedback form, will reopen again for feedback. We can provide an update rating to him. The thing is one mail was sent to him that he got negative feedback and he has to reach out to TM but he has not seen the mail as well. Not reached out to anyone. My manager is going to the different level managers for getting approval. He is not at all aware of these things

Is the PAT guy in the room with us

If probation is not completed the he might be asked to resign
