Next month Iam going to complete 2years at cognizant and almost 23 months in current project, i am doing the all the work as my colleagues doing. And also my friend who joined in this project on same day as me, doing the same work yet his utilization is 100 % for the past 1.5 years and me with 0%.
When i asked my manager same thing, he is not replying to that message, what should i do any suggestions.
Even though you are in billable role, the project manager sends the actual billable hours you are working.
But if utilization is 0 means iam not eligible for any promotion cycle right, this will definitely effect my future in this project and cognizant. Problem is, he is not replying to messages.
You are not eligible for promotion until it's greater than 75%
Check in view Assignment whether your project is billable or non billable
Raised a Gsd regarding this. There is a team who is looking into it for such issues.
Also, check your timesheet whether it's approved by your manager or not. Utilisation depends on this too as well.
Ask your project manager about this . If you utilisation is 0 that means they are not giving you billable hours.
