Trending @Cognizant; About release details / buyout option

I am an associate who has recently been released from the project as the project ended . I have one month until I will be put in bench. My questions are as below

  1. If I issue my resignation now will i (can I ) be able to out faster (like in 2 weeks)
  2. If I issue my resignation after I go to bench will it be faster
  3. How much time can I be in bench before I am forced to resign (approx?)
  4. Is the retention policy real ? And how much they will give to retain you( not gonna opt but just wanna know) 5 . How to avail the buyout option and how much time will I be able to go out if so .and is it worth it (not money wise but time wise)?

  1. Issuing resignation now won't speed up the process, bro.
  2. Resigning after bench might be a bit faster.
  3. You can be on bench for around 2 months max.
  4. Retention policy is real but don't expect much.
  5. Buyout option is not worth it, takes too long. 💯

Approx how much time and money would it be . Is it 3 months salary?
