Even after a month, i haven't been released from the project. They said they haven't found a replacement yet. However, I'm feeling very frustrated with this project and don't want to continue working on it. What should I do?

Yea they would need other resource in place of u first only then they would release you. You would have to give the KT to the replacement resource as well.
