Trending @Cognizant; Abolishing WFH

Did you guys see that Amazon has abolished WFH starting in January? How long do you think it will take for other companies like Cognizant, Accenture, etc., to follow suit and do the same?

Is this really necessary? What exactly is the main issue with WFH? Employees have been working from home effectively and happily. Why the sudden push to bring everyone back to the office?

People are working more effectively from home staying with their families instead of staying away from all the family and friends

Agreed 👍 and with the hike they give. They should feel shameful to call us office with the increasing expenses day by day

Not everyone have friends or people to talk to in their workplaces … people like me cannot make friends in my workplace or pg … people like me prefer to stay home with my family and work peacefully

Won't happen with Cognizant anytime soon. They don't have enough seat capacity :)

I think they will ask everyone to move to their base location. While reducing the bench strength

Previously they were allowing 2 days wfh. Seems like it will happen in cognizant too
