Trending @Cognizant; A to SA Promotion Query

My Total Cognizant YoE - 3 Years 9 Months My Total IT Experience - 8 Years 9 Months (Full Time MBA of 2 Years) Last two ratings - 4 & 3 (Expecting 5 or 4 this time) Qualification - B.Tech, MBA

Even my previous project managers endorsed me for promotion but thats not happening.

Am i eligible for promotion? Is that too hard to get SA from A

Does my promotion depend on the B School which i have studied? (Though i have studied in a secons tier B school till date my efforts to the carrer, projects and practice are sincere and results oriented)

Dont know where it goes wrong and i feel frustrated and depressed.

A — SA promotion won’t happen even though your eligible better to switch the company. I also in the same phase I asked my manager couple times about my promotion he always says I will get back to you.

I received good ratings for last 3 years 4,4,5.

I am in the same line Sir. My last 3 ratings are 5. Even clients sent out an appreciation mail to CTS leads looping EDL and PM. But, whenever I ask my manager for SA promotion all I get to hear is that I will receive good news soon but it is almost an year now. Feeling frustrated and losing interest to work.

I am also in the same situation, how can we switch now ? as we are all aware of the IT Market condition. Does anyone have any idea about this when the IT Market will be booming again ?

Your experience and educations doesnot matter. Everything is in your manager and PM hands
