My overall experience is 8 years as QEA and with cognizant my years of experience is 4 years. When can i expect a promotion from A to SA. I’m not well aware of cognizant policies on promotion
By the way I joined cognizant 4 years back as PA and later promoted to A in 2023.

With promotions, it’s more politics than policy. It all depends on your manager and BU. They have to advocate for you and nominate you. I know people who got promoted within 2.5 years and there’re also those who are still awaiting promotion after 9 years as Associate.

You gotta wait bro. I got promoted to A in 2019. From then, I have 4 top ratings in 5 years and am getting promoted to SA this year only.
So, it took 6 years and 4 top ratings from A to get promoted to SA
