A question I had as a 3 year working associate in Capgemini. Does it really help to gather feedback from colleagues during the year end review?

Feedbacks don’t have that much effort. Everything is in your people and your rating will decide what percent of hike and promotion you will get you should must have one or two rating. In that case. Only you will get high promotion for the rating. There will be no promotion. You can expect very less amount of high near about 3 to 4% only so try for one or minimum two rating. Discuss with your manager.

Feedback can help you understand your strengths and areas for improvement, but ratings and promotions are mostly influenced by your manager's assessment. It's good to gather feedback, but don't rely solely on it.
