Hi CGians, I have not reported to base location since a long now they are saying to apply leaves till now.
So why they are asking like that and what type of leaves i need to apply and how and does it impact my salary as well.?
Can someone pls guide on this?
You need to report Cg office irrespective of location. If you didn’t report then they will ask. They can’t ask you to apply for leave for base location.
You must join the location specified in your offer letter, as you accepted the offer for that particular location. The company generally doesn’t consider the distance from your home — whether it’s 10 km or 5,000 km away. Many employees from North India are already working from their base locations in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, or Bengaluru. So, it’s better to request a location change officially if you wish to work elsewhere…
If your not compliant with BTO policy then there are high chances that they will ask you to apply for leaves to cover up the days. This is more strictly followed for bench people. So it's better to report to office then having to do all this nonsense
But i have my base location in other state far from the near by. In that case what to do?
