Why can't big companies give permanent WFH option? I mean if most of the people are working from home then wouldn't that reduce the use of office resources and there by reducing the operating cost? This will surely help the companies to save Millions of dollars each year.
In a ideal situation yes , but CG has its own challenges like: It owns many offices in India, and upkeep and maintenance of this offices is sunk cost . Second comes the productivity issue , Resources from A to C grade learn a lot when they work in team and collaboration becomes easier. Third is disguised bench , many resources in C to E grade are doing management work which in reality is just bench 😞 or worst moonlighting..

Sad reality 😥 still many big companies don't hv any best jugaad to stop moonlight 🌙 practices... 😅 better to call us office 😉
