Trending @Capgemini; why????????????

It’s frustrating when a workplace doesn’t respect employees’ time and well-being. If planned leaves are constantly interrupted with calls and unplanned leaves lead to escalations, it creates unnecessary stress. The lack of appreciation and the expectation to respond after shifts, especially due to client emails, show a disregard for work-life balance. False promises only add to the dissatisfaction. A healthy work environment should respect employees’ time off, value their contributions, and provide clear, honest communication.

In such a case it's a simple decision. Don't respond after working hours whatever may happen. Sometimes based on priority, it might be unavoidable to help teammates even when on planned leave. But it should not become habit. Also during working hours give your best so that no one can hold it against you. If still they bother so much, change the company after all no one is a slave. Also it shows poor management skills from your project's management.

I can understand and totally relate to this issue. It happen because of senseless management. Its just blame transfer to someone else. Their lack of planning cause situation they cannot handle. And they term it as "Escalation".

If you on planned leave and still get call, record it and reach out to HR. Mostly HR will not do anything. But you will be satisfied that you fought. And they take action then good.

Whatever I told above is applicable If you still have hope with project. If no hope then just resign. No one can stop you from doing it.

By your description i can understand you may not get enough time to prepare for interview. But you need to manage time and get out of there.

Hello, thanks for your comment , i have tried giving resignation (they were saying everything will be fine, they wont ever do anything like this), informing everything( she kept quiet and did not take any action)

also, one more thing is that my backup is very close to my manager as they both are from same region, how he play is.. he doesnt take any training when i give, hang up in the half way saying network issue or something else and he comes one day before my planned leave with a ping saying 'if there is any query, or anything comes that i dont get i will call you'' and my manager supports that!! they never planned for not taking training instead they blame me for not taking calls!

At least on planned leaves, don't answer any work calls. Just remember that we're not working in medical field. No one is gonna die if we don't work for a day
