Trending @Capgemini; What should be salary for B2 consultant in CIS domain with 8 years of experience?
I am getting only 8L package and also this year hike they have put on hold even after getting highest rating , management is saying it will be sorted soon and I will get it but is it right? Please guide
Well, as per my understanding, the salary you're receiving does seem on the lower side. However, Capgemini follows certain policies where compensation is often aligned with the band you are assigned to.
If someone has around 7-8 years of experience but was drawing a lower salary in their previous organization, they may still be placed in Band B2, and the hike they get will usually be based on their last drawn salary, not just experience. Similarly, those who have been with Capgemini for a long time might not see significant hikes over the years due to internal salary structures.
Honestly, if growth is your goal, I would suggest exploring opportunities outside. With your experience, you can easily expect offers in the range of 15-18 LPA, or possibly more depending on your skill set and the role.
