If we don't have anyone from our team in the same office location then I think it's a useless point to make it compulsory even for such individuals to visit the office.

Exactly 💯, My team is scattered in North india and I'm here Alone at Bangalore. Sometimes it sucks to visit the office because you won't have any friends to go for lunch or tea, Every time you have to go Alone
